I just posted my experiences on the "Wood splitter for 4310) thread. To summarize, make friends with the guy(s) at your local welding shop and you'll have it made. Most implements can be easily modified, some are more difficult, and some will require some sort of custom adapter. When I shop for implements if I can't find one that is iMatch compatible I look for one that can be easily modified. A little extra hassle up front, but it saves ongoing hassle down the road. ....

kwschumm -- I just read your post on the wood splitter thread -- thank you! I apologize for posting the same question in two places -- there was a lot of activity on the other thread, and I thought my question had gotten lost...
Now here's the dilemma -- the two most likely candidates I have found would have to be ordered. No one around here has them in stock. Any thoughts on how I could get the dimensions you mentioned in your post? ....

No problem with asking twice. The way the thread meandered it did look like your question got lost.
If you're asking about the iMatch dimensions, I went out and measured. The width between the shoulders of the lower pins is 26" +/- a quarter inch or so. The vertical height between the lower and upper pins is right at 15". The upper pins should be more or less right above the lower pins in the same plane, not set forward or back more than 15-20 degrees or so. If the lower pins are too close to the ground you may not be able to easily pick it up with the iMatch, but you can store it on a pallet to make this problem disappear (good practice anyway to keep the moisture away).
If you're asking about dimensions of the 3ph layout on your splitter you'd have to ask the manufacturer. Lowball manufacturers may not have them handy but I'd think any good manufacturer would. One suggestion though - have you looked around locally? I shop on the internet as much as anyone but it costs so much to ship heavy equipment you may end up spending more out of state. There are often local manufacturers of these sorts of things - sometimes even welding shops make these things for sale. You might talk to a couple of dealers in your area to see what they carry. ....

Billy, you're right nobody seemed agree on where the top hook on the Cat 1 quick coupler should be. I ended up getting a Land Pride quick coupler which features an adjustable top hook that can easily be moved up or down by pulling a couple pins to match the top pin on the hitch of the impliment you want to hook up. So far I haven't found anything it won't match. ....
